Vilnius University
Lithuania's oldest and broadest university, founded in 1579. It runs English-taught programmes across medicine, computing, law, business and the humanities.
Explore university →Master's admissions work differently from bachelor's: what counts here is not your school grades but your bachelor's degree and how well your field aligns.
The difference
Assessment rests largely on your bachelor's degree, your transcript and how closely your field matches the programme. For applications outside your field, some schools ask for bridging courses.
Programme length and credit load vary by school. Some are thesis-heavy, others project and practice-led — the two open different doors afterwards.
The application window is usually shorter than for bachelor's, but translating, certifying and checking recognition of your diploma takes time, so starting early still matters.
Admissions
Alignment between your degree and the programme is the most decisive item. If you're applying outside your field, we work out which programmes are open.
Your average and the content of the courses you took both feed into the assessment.
The level required at master's is usually higher than at bachelor's; plan the exam early.
Many programmes want a motivation letter, some a reference. We prepare those together.
