Terms of service
These headings are the basis of the service agreement you would sign. The full text is sent to you before any payment.
1. Nature of the service
The service consists of information, guidance and practical settlement support for students planning to study in Lithuania. It is provided independently; no official representation, agency or brokerage for any university is undertaken.
The service is not legal advice, immigration advice, medical care, insurance or financial intermediation, and cannot be construed as such.
2. Who decides what
Admission is decided by the university admissions committee, the visa by the relevant consulate, the residence permit by the competent Lithuanian authorities, and recognition of the diploma in Türkiye by YÖK. Renting a home rests with the landlord, and opening a bank account or phone line with the provider concerned.
What is undertaken here is that the file reaching those authorities is complete, accurate and submitted in time. The outcome of every application is tracked and reported to you, and where a decision is negative, appeal and reapplication options are considered together.
3. Fees and payment
The service fee is €1,000 per student, paid in two equal instalments: €500 on signature of the service agreement and €500 after the student's arrival in Lithuania. The amount is stated in the agreement.
Payments are made by bank transfer and documented. Cash payments are not accepted.
University tuition, application fees, rent, deposits, government fees, visa and residence permit fees, sworn translation, notary and apostille costs, health insurance, travel and other third-party expenses are not included in the fee and are paid directly to the institution concerned.
4. Withdrawal, refunds and reapplication
A student who concludes the agreement at a distance or off-premises may exercise the right of withdrawal available to consumers under applicable law. As a general rule a 14-day withdrawal period may apply; notice is sent in writing to info@egitimlitvanyada.com. The agreement does not remove this right.
In cases of cancellation or termination outside the withdrawal period, the services provided, the amounts paid and the services not performed are each taken into account; mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
If the student is not admitted in the first cycle, or cannot settle for reasons not attributable to the student, the pre-arrival services are provided once more in the next available application cycle at no further consultancy fee. Third-party fees are not included in this support.
The second instalment is not requested before the student has arrived in Lithuania and the post-arrival services have been provided.
5. The student's obligations
The student is responsible for the accuracy of their own information and documents. Application declarations and signatures belong to the student.
Obtaining documents on time, meeting examination dates and attending official appointments are the student's responsibility.
6. Power of attorney
A notarised power of attorney may be required for certain steps to be handled on the student's behalf. Its scope is defined narrowly and for a limited period; nothing outside that scope is undertaken.
The power of attorney does not include authority to collect money on the student's behalf or to incur financial obligations in the student's name.
7. Limits of liability
No liability is accepted for the decisions, actions or delays of universities, public authorities, landlords, banks or other third parties.
Information provided is based on the official sources of the institutions concerned as at the date it is shared. No liability is accepted for consequences arising from subsequent changes to those sources.
8. Capacity
A limited number of students is taken on per intake. Where places are full, this is stated at the first consultation.
9. Governing law
The agreement is governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes are first addressed through amicable resolution.
The headings above are for information. The binding provisions are contained in the signed service agreement, which is sent to you before payment.
