Frequently asked questions

The questions students and parents ask most, answered briefly and clearly.

How much does the service cost?

€1,000 per student in total, paid in two equal instalments: €500 on signing the service agreement and €500 after you arrive in Lithuania.

The figure is stated in the agreement and does not change afterwards. Payment is by bank transfer and documented.

What does the service fee include?

Before arrival: university and programme guidance, application support, a document checklist, accommodation search and arrival planning.

After arrival: airport pickup, moving in, city orientation, SIM and transport setup, guidance through the residence permit, bank and registration steps, university orientation and local follow-up through the first semester.

Is university tuition included?

The fee covers the consultancy. Tuition, application fees, rent, deposits, government fees and translation costs are paid directly to the institution concerned — so you can see where every payment goes.

How do you improve my chances of admission?

By building a realistic short list that fits your profile and getting your application in complete and on time. The university makes the decision; my job is that your file reaches them in its strongest form.

What do you do in the residence permit process?

I build your document list for your situation, plan where each document comes from and in what order, and set up the MIGRIS application and the appointment calendar.

Note: immigration advice is outside the scope; for that I refer you to a licensed professional.

Can you help me find accommodation?

Yes. I research dorm and rental options, verify listings, deal with the landlord or agent and view the place in person where possible. The contract is made in the student's own name.

Do you pick students up at the airport?

Yes. Pickup at Vilnius Airport and transfer to your accommodation are part of the service. We plan your flight time together in advance.

Do you help after arrival?

Yes. Contact is closest in the first weeks, and after that you can still reach me directly by phone or WhatsApp whenever you need to.

Do you submit the application for me?

The application is prepared on your behalf and with your knowledge. Portal registrations, file checks and deadline tracking are mine; signatures and declarations are yours.

Which universities do you work with?

I am not an official representative or agent of any university. Working independently means I have no incentive to steer you towards a particular school. The list on this site is of universities students may consider.

What if my English isn't good enough?

I studied philology, so I can give practical help on the language side. We establish your real level first and build from there — someone starting from the basics does not need the same support as someone already fluent.

We work on English and Lithuanian, and on academic versus everyday use, separately. This is not a language course — it is support included in the service fee that runs as and when you need it; frequent when things are busy, sparse once you have settled.

What if I struggle with English in lectures or on official documents?

Academic English and everyday English are different things, and we work on them separately. We go through whatever you got stuck on in class and put the terminology in place in Turkish where that helps.

Recognition files and emails to the university and to institutions also run in English. We read those texts together and write them together.

Do I need to speak Lithuanian?

Not to attend classes — English-taught programmes have no Lithuanian requirement, and English is widely used on campus.

In daily life it makes a visible difference though: public offices, neighbours, local shops. That is why we work on Lithuanian alongside English, at your own level — optional, not compulsory.

Can my parents contact you?

Yes. I communicate with parents in Turkish and update them at the important steps. Where the student is over 18, I follow the student's consent on sharing personal information. Where the student is under 18, the process runs with the parent throughout.

What happens if I change my mind?

Cancellation and refund terms are written into the agreement and read through together before anything starts. I don't charge for work that hasn't been done.

What happens if my application is unsuccessful?

What happens next — the following intake or alternative programmes — is agreed in advance in the contract. I'd rather discuss that possibility at the start.

Why one person instead of an agency?

Because the valuable part of this service comes from being here. You speak to the person doing the work — by phone or WhatsApp, whenever you need to — rather than to whoever happens to pick up.

Question not answered here?

Write to me and I'll answer it plainly.

We are not a government body

Study in Lithuania is an independent, privately owned education consultancy. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government authority, embassy, consulate, the Lithuanian Migration Department (Migracijos departamentas), VFS Global or any university. We do not issue, obtain, expedite or guarantee visas, residence permits or any other official document, and we cannot influence any authority’s decision. Every official application is filed by the student in their own name with the competent authority — we provide information, guidance, translation and practical support only. Official state fees are paid directly to the authority concerned and are not included in our consultancy fee.
